Exciting news! The Adult Learning Program at Chilliwack Learning Society has successfully completed a two-year project to install desktop computers in locations accessible to seniors.
Thanks to a generous donation of twelve desktop computers from Rotary World Help, facilitated by Michael Berrisford, a dedicated CLS Tech Support volunteer, we were able to equip a variety of housing organizations with this much-needed technology. Michael not only provided essential updates to the computers but also managed the installations.
These computers have been placed in retirement residences, seniors’ activity centers, supported housing, and CSCL day programs. Now, seniors can easily book appointments, video chat with loved ones, play games, shop online, and more, all from the comfort of their homes.
Additionally, CLS Tech tutors are available to support the learning needs of seniors, helping them stay current and connected in today’s digital world.
