Preschool children and their caregivers, and a Kindergarten class at Central Elementary gathered for an event at the school on April 26 sponsored with Raise a Reader funds. Together they planted garden boxes, watched caterpillars move in the habitat they’ll be in until they turn into butterflies and are released, and listened to one of our Bookworm Friends volunteers read Jayden’s Impossible Garden. The preschool children were each given a copy of the book to take home for their personal libraries.
